International exchange policy?

Hi everyone here:
I recently purchased a Scarf when I was in France. It was stunning but I think the color might be too dark/pale for my liking. Is it possible to to an exchange in US? I have receipt and it's still within 30 days time frame. Does everyone have done this recently? Thank you all in advance!
