Thank you all very much.

I really struggled with the black vs black and white decision. I was worried about colour transfer. So I did an experiment: I found a white wallet and rubbed very hard against denim to get colour transfer. Then I worked out how to remove the transfer. Having done that, I felt confident enough to commit to this purchase. I may be crazy, but at least I'm thorough:giggle::blush:
How did you get rid of the transfer?

Thank you all :flowers:
Disco had her first outing today. I took her to the beach. I was wearing a Burberry black trench and a dark blue denim wash but no sign of colour transfer  I sprayed her with collonil in advance. I think she is going to be just fine. My pretty Disco :hbeat::love:
Awesome! What is collonil?
Also would you mind writing down in detail your method for removing color transfer that you discovered?
Would any moisturizer and face wipe brand do?

I'm sure lots of knowledgeable people have better coping tactics for colour transfer but for what it's worth, here is what worked for me.

This was an experiment I did with a white Saffiano leather wallet against indigo denim.

I took Lancome Hydra Zen day cream on a cotton bud and dotted it around the area of transfer. I rubbed it on gently with my fingers. Then I wiped it off with a Simple face wipe. I did this 2-3 times. It completely removed the transfer.

I don't know if every moisturiser would work. I've tried a few leather cleaners/balsams in the past which have not worked as well. (I find them too heavy so sometimes in soft leather like Prada Soft Calf, I get moisture stains where more of the cleaner gets absorbed.)

I used Simple wipes deliberately because they should be less harsh than baby wipes (chemicals for wiping) and other face wipes that have brightening or exfoliating ingredients.

Colonnil is a light protective spray. I've had it recommended by Givenchy and Mulberry SAs. I bought it in the Mulberry store. It's called Colonnil Waterstop.

I hope this helps x

I just came back from Rome today and purchased the same exact bag! I didn't know it was a limited edition. But I am worried about color transfer because I normally always wear all black. Wish us luck! Enjoy your bag [emoji813]️

You'll be fine I hope. I carry it every weekend so it's been 3-4 times now. No colour transfer at all.
