What about a Cartier love bracelet ~ you can get the cuff version if you don't want the full bracelet and still stay well within your budget.

The Cartier love is a bit too recognizable for my liking, albeit it is a very nice bracelet.

It's definitely unique but would you wear it enough to justify it, and would it be comfortable enough for regular wear?

I feel like it might actually be easier for me to pull off for regular wear than a pendant. I still have some time to mull it over I s'pose.

I'm going to have to compare in real life because from online pictures, the vivid orange diamonds seem to be even prettier but much pricier.

Just my 2cents but I think a yellow diamond is more common these days. A more unique FCD would be a natural pink. Again, just my $.02.

The only downside is that I'm colour blind to pink, I see it as white.

Indeed, I used to always think that the walls in my house were white until I was told that they were a salmon colour. Whoops xD

Yellow diamonds are like beams of pure sunlight, they are exquisite ! I think they go with everything whereas orange may not have the same sunny brilliance.
To find a .5 ct in a good pink (pp1) will cost you a lot of money , maybe 5 times as much as a yellow even.
