Stylehard commented under her response video that her husband was taking the guilloche bracelet back to the jeweler that they know personally for refund/store credit.

… so was their jeweler friend the reseller :confused1: she also wrote on the video that the guilloche came with all vca packaging…

Come on, they knowingly bought a replica, that's obvious.
The jeweller friend is probably from the jewellery district, were all the savvy people who don't want to pay for hype go and have their jewelry made to order: engagement rings, bands, bangles, all sorts of stones sets, update to older pieces, fixing broken stuff, completing missing/lost stones and yes, the occasional imitation bracelet.

The whole thing is becoming a bizarre drama for no reason.
She is making everything so much worse by pretending she was not aware and that she'll return it; come on! Anyone who ever stepped in one of the shops knows full well how it works.

The dude is stitting there among his tools and machines and asks: "So, what would you have me do?" and you answer "My wedding band is becoming too small I want it enlarged, I want to swap out the rubis on this ring for a sapphire, grandma gave my this necklace but the clasp is too loose, it fell off twice already, can you change it, my niece is getting baptized next month, I want a pair of earrings for her with the peridots from the ring I dismantled last year, also I want one of those VCA clovers type bracelets". LOL!

None of it is illegal, why lie? It makes no sense...

I couldn't help but notice something peculiar about the video that Stylehard shared in response to Mirage. Throughout the video, she kept rolling her eyes, leading me to believe that she wasn't entirely honest with us. Additionally, it bothered me when she apologized for her husband's messy room. Why do people feel the need to pretend that their lives are flawless all the time? It's just a facade, and it doesn't sit well with me.
Her life probably is a facade, many influencers are the same. Even in real life, people’s wealth is a facade and they’re in debt to keep up with the facade of faking it until they make it. Sibyl just admits she isn’t rich, and is honest. I’m the same as her, I’m not rich but I like the finer things in life which will last years and stand the test of time. It also depends what your lifestyle is; if you’re being financially provided for by your partner but you still work, you have a choice to save or spend. I think that’s the position Sibyl is in, I’m not sure though.

A Google image search for #sybillamirage will bring up what she does besides YouTube. I can’t post the images on here because they’re somewhat risqué.

You have to type in her name as a hashtag: #sybillamirage. I think she does either OnlyFans or some kind of foot fetish site because her images came up under those as well.
Nowadays, this kind of business is so widespread that not many people judge them anymore. It's their body, their life.

Probably after Dita Von Teese's success, the norm has been normalised.

I watched Meytal's previous everyday jewelry collection from last year where she first shows the the VCA bracelet in question - she does post photos from the store then says she "ended up splurging on it", no mention of hubby gifted it. Interesting. I still wish she'd make a video addressing her $9000 serpenti ring and $50,000 alleged love bracelet shown on tiktok.

Anyways,

I totally agree with the posts about influencers selling a facade. In a way, I think those producing in this Lux content have to unless they are just filthy rich. Which, lets be real, how many women with hundreds of millions or billions are on Youtube? Or making mean, judgemental viral tiktok videos for all their/their husband's business partners/investors and clients to see?

Viewers get bored with the same ole content on the same ole 3 bags an influencer have. They always crave more. Most influencers seem to be online with the intention of gaining popularity for future sponsorships. For me, it's taken the fun out of some of their content. I have started gravitating more towards commentary videos lately. I enjoy Youtube more than other platforms, but I don't like how commercialized it has become. I am not interested in lab grown diamonds from Idyl or whatever else these lux youtubers are pushing. They ALL advertise the same things, too. It's very annoying.

I also don't care much about Sib's controversial occupation or side hustle - there's a few others in lux Youtube who have opened up about being in similar lines of work. I think some start YT with the hopes of pivoting out of that lifestyle and being able to replace their income with brand deals. Personally, I don't care one bit how they make their money for designer items as long as they (or their spouses) are not harming innocent people in the process (and ideally not lying to their viewers). I have more respect for a woman making her money on OnlyFans than I do a businessman making his money from arson.

LOL!!
Now that's some tea! ☕🫖
I am not surprised, she looks and sounds too mentally unstable really, what with the bizarre dramas with every SA's etc. There is one super long dramatic cringe-fest about a pair of earrings... No wonder, she is probably insecure because of her *profession".

Maytal (StyleHard) is a married mother of two, the kids are real, you sometimes see them, the husband is real (obviously, LOL), she lives in Toronto, that's real too, you can see sometimes images. At some point she tried Vlogging so you could see details of her life.

To the people who think that because she lied about a bracelet, then everything about her is false, that's delusional. She probably got herself a little 18k replica that cost half to save some and that's wise.

However, she clearly is comfortable financially; the inside of her house is quite upscale, they have a cabin by the lake with boats, she does have enough real jewelry to warrant taking them to a coffer in a bank vault, she did work in styling in the past, she even had some drama with some rapper she styled once, then she held a resale store, she has a huge collection of Louboutins, she has lots of designer items that look real, sh has always be transparent about doing high-low with her clothing, she clearly does not need to have a full time job nowadays (which is a saying a lot) and of course, she does not need to be doing Onlyfans for her jewelry!!! LOL!

She is just some stylish upper middle class mom trying a bit too hard to be relevant and who sometimes cuts corners. No big deal for me. I think getting into TikTok messed her up. It changed her tone and perspective. Clearly the target audience is different and it showed. Still, she is not spreading it for money, which for me is a massive red line.

But really, this whole affair is getting too bizarre... WTF?

Totally agree re TikTok. What a shame because her old content years ago was nonjudgmental, insightful, and actually pleasant.

But personally, I’ve never seen someone with one fake only have one fake, unless it was truly an misunderstanding/accident. Maybe some items are real - but all of them? I doubt it unless she’s telling the truth (which she could be).

Nonetheless, it’s enough to get me to unsubscribe.

I would like to see that too. Probably fakes she views as accessories for her fashion TikTok's.

More than you think. Lots of influencers actually come from lots of real money, which is how they are able to do just that; nepo children, (somewhat) wealthy housewives, and people with a side business to push products on you.
You know them as they appear on YouTube, instagram etc, and within months they're big (organically or not, same). And they have access. This you cannot buy. You can rent flats, cars, etc. but you cannot pay to film in the private salons of big Houses; you need connections or purchase history.

How about someone who is neither?

These various influencers who claim to be VCA experts are hilarious to me. They do not have extensive knowledge and I would never trust anything they say. As I’ve been building my collection I have relied heavily on the expertise of our group. The ladies are a wealth of knowledge and their collections and opinions are the only ones I trust.
Yes, this forum provides a lot of information about vca.

Most of the members here are helpful and humble. However, sometimes we do come across people who are on their high horse and assume a lot about how other people's lives are like as if getting a branded high quality jewellery item is a crime. Nowadays, women are successful in their profession (not just only fan professions), this is a new era, not Belle Epoque era.

It's people's choice as to how to spend their own money as long as they're not in debt or steal or do illegal dealing.

Who are we to judge?

Meh, we may have different perspectives of wealth.
