Yes, magic YG hammered earrings were also discontinued at the same time as the malachite magic. I was on the waitlist for them (knowing they would be discontinued) for about 6 months, but they were on the no-order list that entire time. They cannot currently be ordered by any method. I ended up buying a pair from Fashionphile once it became clear that I would not be able to buy them from VCA. I assume at some time in the future they will be available for MTO/SO once it opens up again.
YG magic guilloche is quite popular and is available. Like all items, you would want to check with the boutique to make sure it is in stock before you head out but it’s not on a no-order list or anything. WG magic guilloche is not available (only vintage size for WG guilloche).
Pity I think wg magic guilloche would be super pretty!
I stopped trying for magic malachite earrings about 3 years ago and decided to get the malachite 10 motif instead. at that time (and ever since) I’ve only heard that malachite is being limited (ie. fewer pieces and styles). as far as SO, I am no where near the $$$$$$ threshold to have ever been offered this solution.
my SA told me in May that hammered yellow gold was put on hold because of a very high demand and low number of artisans, ratio. he said that VCA placed hammered yellow gold on hold and even refunded the money back to people on the waitlist because upon calculation, it would take around 40 years (maybe you can confirm this with your SA).
In May they were officially discontinued. Of course, they could be re-launched at any time. what I don't understand is why/how is rose hammered gold still available?
I also noticed her comment under Cassie’s video. kind of an odd statement because I think that the same can be said about all fine jewelry in general (gold is soft and scratches easily; gem stones get discolored overtime and scratch).
