They said because because the shiney croc is very suspectable to damage and they wear a lot of lotion on the hands they don't want to damage it
I have a shiney black croc wallet from 2016.
Never have I worn gloves , I treat it like a normal wallet and it's actually holding up ok .

I also have a shiny and just wear it normally! So either they are getting these bags for no pre spend and keeping them in the box at home and never wearing, or re selling. I think it's the latter because why pay so much for a bag to never use it? And that's such a ridiculous excuse 🙄
I actually asked a question about when they go to these different Hermes do they carry / wear their b/k ( I make it a point to do this and the Sa recognize it as well!)

I want to ask those who follow handbag husband: so do they get a lot of bags? I can't follow them because each video is so long and it takes forever for them to reveal the bag (it doesn't seem like they reveal it after each trip). I don't have the patience to sit through their videos and find them milking the situation too much

Really? I like handbag husband. So far it's been consistent positive H content from folks that are clearly enjoying Hermes. No worries though, we can't all like the same things

My shiny croc belt (an early purchase) has a few pin-size, matte water marks from (presumably) spray from a tap or a water fountain. I lived and I learned.
I think it could be a gender inert/construct thing too, I think the only way (some) guys can relate to costly fashion and justify funding and collecting bags is through phrases such as a 'demonstrable high-performance return yield in the pre-loved market'. Same people who buy unmounted colour diamonds or rare stamps and keep them in a safe.

People online say that her father is one of Tik Tok investors, hence her socials blew up so much in such short period of time. Her pages are very bizarre—some videos on Insta are hidden and can’t be found even in the reels tab (like when people post in testing mode), but still appear in recommendations, even for people who aren’t interested in that type of content, which goes against every single rule of how the algorithm works. But agree, as an Hermes influencer, she doesn’t bring any new info or value. People online speculate that she’s planted by Van Cleef to do damage control after some online scandal about Alhambra bracelets tarnishing.

The theory that Van Cleef & Arpels planted her seems far-fetched, but I do think she capitalized on a trending topic and rode the wave of fame. There was an article confirming that certain TikTok employees can boost individual creators or videos to the For You Page under what they call "Heating". This kind of insider influence could certainly explain her rapid rise.
A lot of these influencers are propped up by their own heavy paid PR. Would not be surprised if she is one of them too.
