Influencers and Hermes

I'm really struggling with those intense face filters. I get it — we all want to look better on camera and online — but my brain just can't handle the empty, blurred-out space where a nose should be. It genuinely confuses me. Like, I honestly start wondering if I’m looking at an AI-generated image instead of a real person. Like endless unboxing of high end items normalize over-consumption, those harsh filters make us forget what a human should look like.
I think it’s a Chinese thing. I became interested in Dior RTW lately and was browsing IG for the recent collection. The vast majority of the RTW images are from Chinese resellers or influencers. All of them were heavily edited with facial filters and distorted to make the legs look abnormally thin and long. It’s quite ridiculous.

this influencer went to Hermes Melbourne tried to secure a bag with 0 pre-spend and brought to a so called "private room" ? :annoyed:
not sure why he carried a deep fake bag at the beginning of the video.

LOL private showroom. That's just the upper level of the store.

I don't know why they are allowed to film staff like that (unless it was unknowingly). They'll say anything for views.

Becca Bloom has Wirkins and Wellys!!!

Has anyone confirmed that her actual pictures she posted have the birkins with the holes for a crossbody strap? I wouldn’t put it past a TikToker like him faking the pics or getting fake pics accidentally. He also believe that Hermes is manufacturing bags in china so generally unreliable 🤷‍♀️

To be honest, they don’t necessarily have to be fake. Talent and influencer management agencies often rent out designer bags and jewelry to their clients. Not saying that’s what’s happening here, but there’s an entire industry built around creating this kind of luxury illusion.

You can’t be a luxury brand and sell your items to men who pay for sex.
The thing that is crazy is there are known prostitute influencers who openly discuss soliciting, encouraging young women to do it too, and also share their hermes collections and brag about how much their SA loves them on the same channel. Guess all money is green!

I saw Ginza Xiaoma is now advertising authentic H bag rentals by the hour. I imagine we will see an influx of influencers posing with H bags in Tokyo soon.

Well lets be so for real here......Hermes does not care whether one is married to their sugar daddy or hopping around from sugar daddies....
