Influencers and Hermes

I do not believe Lou has fake bags. She has bought a bunch from prominent resellers and always name checks them in unboxing (I would say mainly Redeluxe). She doesn't play like she's some VIP or huge spender always getting quota bags from the store etc. If she was showing off fake bags and claiming she purchased form X - Seller it would not be good for a sellers reputation either.

Her Hermes bags look genuine to me

Are her bags authentic? There are posts all over Reddit and TikTok about her reviewing and showing off fakes. That itself would discourage me from buying from her closet sale
Her story about how she purchased her mini Kelly from a Hermes boutique in Spain with no purchase history or very little is questionable. She walked into a boutique and put the bag on her wishlist, within weeks she got notified her wish was fulfilled. She also got a raincoat with it.

I recently finished reading this

The Curious Economics of Luxury Fashion: Millennials, Influencers and a Pandemic by Don Thompson

Among other things - It has some useful insights into the world of influencers. What we see is a carefully created, edited and then edited again version of 'reality'. What we see is a young girl showing us her beautiful closet and inviting us to watch her fashion journey - in reality behind the more successful influencers there is a team creating content, negotiating sponsorships and yes - fake bags and resellers are part of the 'dream'.

For me the only Hermes “influencer”, I’ve been admiring and taking inspiration from is this very chic lady Nadine Kasuga, she must be a VIP client, she actually uses her bags, even croc ones! And she has a really lovely and unique collection across 3 cities… Maybe also cause she’s more mature, I think Hermes for me as a brand fits more with a more mature clientele, not necessarily old, but “mature” as a person who had a career/life experience and appreciates the brand for its craftsmanship and durability foremost, not just as a “status symbol”… Or someone like Kelly Rutherford, a “Birkin mom” vibe, dressed elegantly, light makeup… not the full glam of Kardashians and the like 😅 or even Lauren Sanchez… they might have all the money in the world… but not the style 🙈
Thank you for posting. I looked her up and she really fits my aesthetic.

I don‘t follow them or look at their stuff to be honest. They just don’t seem genuine to me. They may be nice people but I don’t like content that doesn’t come across authentic to me..
I share this. I don’t get what they’re supposed to be LOL for lack of a better term. She always feels like she’s above him and he dresses like he doesn’t ever know the occasion.

I came across this "Italkhermes" lady on IG and she comes across to me as Tania 2.0... does anyone know what makes this lady supposedly qualified to give paid for advice on how to get bags? lol
you made me curious and searched for her. She's qualified with 14 years of Hermes experience + multiple quota bags in Paris + "i talked to a lot of people" she offers 1:1 meeting for a fee then unlimited text after that :D Hermes helps many people make money
