But the bag offer is for her friend ... We don't know who her friend is, so how can we say that she isn't a socialite or a VIP client?
but did that friend get offered one bag or multiples because if it were multiples I’m sure that would have been shared. Looks like there’s a hole in the story or pure luck - perhaps they walked in right after another client turned down the bag. It’s also the summer and the city is dead.

Not to distract from the current topic but how do we feel about these influencers making businesses off of Hermes? For example, obviously Tania sells roadmaps and I see Allison has a paid service where she will identify an Hermes scarf for you. Personally I don't really understand it.

I hope no one’s paying them for what they can easily find for free with a quick internet search. Can easily image search a scarf to identify it.

Yeah, I was trying to be nice and not to pick out certain parts of the bag, but it’s a terrible bag.
Once again, influencer baits for views with “baby Birkin” and “snubbed by H” yet cannot tell a raging fake when she has it in her hands.

Edited to add: If this kind of thing works… I’m going to have a 10cm “Birkin” made and start a YT channel 🤣
yes please do - because of you don’t I think I will…
On another note I wonder if anyone here can name the influencers in these two photos. I rather like their style. @QuelleFromage I believe you have the Kelly on the left?

If there’s a willing buyer and a willing seller I see no issue with it. Is it kind of scammy yes. But then again people pay for convenience. It’s a big industry.

Another theft in Paris. Sigh.

Well...the bag in question was ON SALE on a shelf at a vintage fair. Not like it was nicked off her hand or stolen from her hotel, yet she goes on and on about "Paris is so dangerous now". Basically, it was shoplifting.
This is classic influencer headline bait: "MY HERMÈS BAG WAS STOLEN", which conjures up burglaries and muggings and the loss of a beloved item, but no, this was a bag she was reselling; it was on display in a public place; and, for whatever reason, it wasn't secured and wasn't being watched properly. Very sad that she was shoplifted, but this happens everywhere - ask anyone who runs a store. Put the valuable stuff in a locked case :shrugs:
