If it’s your first designer I would start off with LV canvas and stay at a lower budget say around $1-2k. That way you get to explore what works and not for you and possibly buy a few more (you’re not going to just have one designer bag once you start). Also try not to think about resell value but rather what makes your heart sing

Almost everyone would say Chanel is their holy grail but i think you’ve made the right decision not to get it based on your lifestyle

I think with the amount of quality problems Chanel and LV are having you'd be better off with another brand.

Hermes Evelyne f.e. is a lovely classic style, medium size range, many colors to choose from and comes in several sizes. Tod's is another brand to look at.
