I haven’t see too many of those around here. The most common one here is LV.

I’d probably stay under $5,000. I remember a style of Chanel that was like a tote bag, quilted with the logo c on it but they no longer make it.

I believe you are thinking of the GST. Sadly Chanel is not making them any longer. IMO Chanel is the way to go... there are many other totes in that range similar to the GST, backpacks that are amazing, camera bags that are so good, Classic Mini... look at the Chanel site.

Not sure what your style is but you have so many options with your budget. I suggest going into the store and trying on some bags. Chanel, Dior, LV are great first luxury bags...let us know what you decide

Chanel would be a great choice but as it will be your first, you may not want to use a chanel as an everyday bag. LV & Prada hold up very well as everyday bags but if you are looking for something special, chanel is the way to go.

I’m considering a LV or Prada. We live near the beach and are very active in the Spring and Summer. A Chanel probably would not get much use I’d be too worried and baby it too much. I have an 18 month old toddler so there’s that too lol

Lot of good options with that price range. An Evelyn or Garden Party from Hermes. Several options from Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Givenchy. Going into the pre-loved market gives even wider ranges. You can very easily get a Chanel Classic or Boy bag, vintage Hermes Kellys or Birkins.

If you’re worried and will not be able to enjoy certain bags then definitely check out LVs canvas. The durability is there and I haven’t had any customer service issues.
