In the market for a Rolex: should I get Jubilee dial or MOP dial?....

Another vote for MOP, it's worthwhile! I'm not a fan of the jubilee dial, too 'messy'. When I look into the MOP, I am more excited than the diamond markers. Since this purchase is your one and only Rolex, opt for the MOP. I was told by my local authorised dealer that it's easier to change dials to diamond but not MOP as it's too fragile.

I have never seen that combination (two tone jubilee, fluted bezel, diamond markers) in dark MOP. Look forward to your photos....

Nvie: I saw your watch in the reference thread, it is gorgeous and it looks exactly the same as what I was thinking of getting. Is your's the ladies size? I was looking at mid size. I saw the dark MOP, and while it is striking, I prefer the look of the white MOP...Anyways, thanks for your input!

sassc -Thank you. I was only thinking of getting the white dial with diamond markers but since DH saw the MOP he said that's the one. I agree. Mine is ladies size. The price has gone up 20% since 2008 when I got mine....better to get one now. That combination must be unique, oh yeah, I remembered, I saw a lady wearing that combo but looks more like two tone rose gold/steel with dark MOP. I am in love with all rose/yellow gold president bracelet roman markers with dark MOP! It's way way too expensive for me to get it now...I can only dream about it! HA!
