That's exactly what I thought! I don't think it's going to be an "IT" bag just because the editors state so, though I'm sure some people would believe that. This one is definitely far far away from my list.

InStyle magazine often has these layouts of clothes that I consider just aweful and this bag would fit right in. I'm also surprised that Uma and Madonna are considered the people who would be first to carry the next it bag - after all Madonna isn't really a style icon anymore and I don't think Uma Thurman ever was - IMO anyways.

ITA...some of their outfits are just preposterous and makes me wonder if they just thew darts at a board to match things up.

This bag actually reminds me of a chic Ferragamo bag I saw at Nordstroms 2 weeks ago. And that bag was very wearable. The Gaultier is trying too hard to be stylish.
