Thanks for all the support ladies for my new Gramercy bag......may I proudly introduce the one that got away! When Coach offered this bag during one of their online sales I tried to order it in oxblood and was so excited! Then that order got canceled and instead I got the cherry color (can't remember the official color name).
I decided that I wouldn't carry that red color very often because I'm more of a subdued, neutral bag carrier so I sadly returned it.
Fast forward to now when I decided I really needed this bag in my life. The black bag that I revealed above arrived that I found on an online selling site but the size was VERY large, much larger than I remember my old Gramercy's being. Turns out this seller did not measure her bag correctly and I did indeed get the very biggest Gramercy that was made and it was Gi-normous! Too big for me so once again I sent that bag back due to not being measured correctly.
I was quite sad because though it was a stunning bag it felt like luggage to me.
Then I saw my dream bag in oxblood on ebay and snapped her up.......she's the regulary (medium sized) Gramercy and now I'm content........finally! I've ordered a new black, cotton webbing strap from Mautto because it's so much more comfortable to carry her with that strap than the thin one that comes with the Gramercy. It's the one feature of this bag that I don't care for, the strap should have been much wider for comfort.
So may I introduce my new-to-me oxblood Gramercy currently wearing my brown webbing strap that will be swapped out for a new black one when it arrives.....I love black and oxblood together!
