Im new to Dior. Is Lady Dior bag obsolete ?

Agree with others here, Lady Dior is a true classic , having withstood the test of time since the '90s. Esp. since they replaced the zip closure with a flap, I feel it's more user-friendly. I find the X-body length strap is great for running daily errands.

I recently bought my first Lady Dior and I love her. It’s an ABCDior.
Such a classic design with a wonderful spin to it.
And the size is perfect.
I’ve been wearing her quite frequently too.
Infact, I’m planning on adding another one to my collection.

That’s interesting.. I very, very rarely see any of the Ladies so maybe it is regional. Good point about the ABCDior though, I had forgotten that came out a few years ago... I think Dior is trying to keep LD relevant so they’re giving it more attention than before. Especially if OP gets a Dlite, that’s certainly of the moment!

I live in London, and have only seen it once since 2019 (I never really looked at LD handbags prior to that). This makes it even more special than other designer handbags. I see Chanel and Hermes way too often and also

I got a lady dior in the small size earlier this year, and I felt like I was behind the curve, but I think it's actually due to them being kind of a sleeper hit because while they aren't pervasive like some designer bags, I get more compliments when I wear it than any other designer bag, including my Chanel, so I really think it's just subtle, not a lot of people have one, and so they are special; not out of date. I absolutely love mine, and were I not trying to acquire specifically non-duplicates at the moment, I'd totally get one in every size!

I think the questions should be, is it the right size for your needs? Does the style work for you? Do you love the look and shape? Why focus on what other people think? It’s your money, and only your opinion should matter.

But, since it does seem to matter what other people think. Yes, it’s a timeless classic.
