I'm looking for the squishiest leather hobo I can afford.

Gustto is a brand that was talked about on TPF a lot a few years back. Their bags are very smooshy and unstructured. Not sure if you can still get new ones or if you'd have to look at preloved.

+1 for Gustto! I still carry my Baca and it is so soft...love it

Are you in Europe? Both Liebeskind and Fredsbruder brands have lovely soft, squishy leather and an affordable price point. If you want delicious vintage-y leather, look at Campomaggi - a little more expensive, but really lush leather and maybe quite akin to your Scaramanga bag in style. The squishiest hobo I've ever owned was an Hugo Boss lambskin - it was huge and totally flaccid though (...ahem...) and I could never find anything in it, so I offed it. Ah, nostalgia...

The Furla Elisabeth could be an option. I have one in black pebbled leather and it's a squooshy black puddle of a bag.

Ooh! I like the look of that! I don't like the way it like as a backpack, but other than that it's completely lovely! And so many colors!

Yeah, I think it's decided. It'll be a while, but I'm probably going to need one of those rough and tumble 3 in 1 bags. But which color? And which size? And yes or no to outside pockets?

Oh gosh don't reject an outside pocket! they are sooooo useful and getting harder to find, i have skipped purses because of their lack of one...

You're probably right. I'll most likely go with pockets. Although it's going to be a few months before I can purchase anything, so I may change my mind completely.
