If he can make one that is the same width as your band with smooth sides, and small melee with a millegrain border...bad ass! :yahoo:

My husband watches with puzzlement any time I take any of mine. Those shots were AMAZINGLY awesome. Thank you Macro! The one you are using for an avatar is the bomb!

This is the one I am bringing in from Tacori:
http://www.since1910.com/wedding-rings/tacori/tacori-diamond-eternity-pave-band-2521et-pi1302.aspx

But because the milligrain along the halo is so small and you can't quite see it. I'm not sure if i want a smooth border or not? The other option is to custom the novo like ring like yours and contessas and then add a border with the milligrain edge. And then third option is to buy a spacer and have a double shared prong because the spacer doesnt seem so bad. Also, the basket is structured in a way that it really pulls away from the actual ring. So in a nutshell:

Wedding band options are:
#1: Matching Tacori (overpriced but if it really goes incredibly well then i'll cave and pay the premium)
#2: Novo-esque band with extended milligrain edge
#3: Double shared prong band with 3 pointers and a spacer

haha the one I'm using in my avatar was SHEER luck. A few of those flowers grow outside so I went up there and hoped no neighbors wouldn't come out and think I was crazy. I just don't know what I would have said if they saw me! haha maybe pretend I saw a ladybug?

I vote for #1 or #2. I think the milgrain on the sides where the crescents are is more noticeable than the halo milgrain. That "matching one" is fantastic. And really if you can get a half-eternity band versus full, that would be ideal, and hopefuly save some money, the link says you can and to call for pricing. If you can swing the matching half-eternity that would be perfect. IF it matches. If it's sized right it will not spin a ton (unless you have knuckles like me...

A LOT will be sheer luck. I usually get 5-10 great shots from 100 total.

Jennifer - Thank you!!! I"m so excited!

Ame - I can't wait! We have an appointment with our jeweler on Saturday to talk over options and I'm hoping we can order them that day so we have time to make adjustments for the wax and cad if it's custom and since tacori will take another 5-6 weeks if we get matching. They have the half but I prefer the full, if it's a one time deal I'd rather go and do it right so that I never have to worry or think about it. My ring is already spinning but I think it's because it's top heavy, not so much that it doesnt fit. Right now I'm leaning towards #2 because of all the pictures I've seen so far and because of the extra carat weight. Luckily my shanks are plain and the ring somewhat looks like a solitare enough for me to have flexibility with the wedding band. TPF has me jewelry obsessed! We also get to design fiance's ring Saturday too. He wants a satin finisher center with polished edges in a comfort fit style. Pretty simple, but Im also calling in the Tacori version of it for him too so he can see whether he likes it or not. None of our dealers locally carry the mens band in house.

Before you settle on full eternity:
Keep in mind that eternity bands cannot be resized. So if you gain or lose weight with babies it cannot be resized. They can put beads inside the shank like mine OR sometimes in RARE cases file a little out of the inside, but that's rare.

I am looking forward to seeing what you decide!

HMMmM once again you are reminding me why my initial reason to go for 3/4 eternity was! I'm scared to go for a half because i'm worried the metal will show or the ring will spin on me. Tacori has also agreed to do a 3/4 for me if I want to so it's really up to me. The bad part about Tacori thought is that if you get a half, the remaining half is just fully plain and it looks incomplete. I mainly want to make sure that there is room on the inside for engraving too.

Well the ring will spin sometimes but it isn't the end Of the works if it does. Mine does sometimes, usually when im in the cold or my hands are wet and it isn't that bothersome to me since it isn't lining up with another matching ring. I would do 2/3 or 3/4 if the spinning thing bugs you. That gives you less metal to see and allows for resizing.

feifei - thank you!!! Love your avatar, makes me want to sit and tan somewhere beautiful!

OooOh you are getting me soooo excited to go wedding band shopping!!! Hopefully something will stick out and really call out to me! I really want to go custom too I'm almost hoping the matching Tacori doesn't look as good haha The weekend cant come sooner. We have a jam packed Saturday. Florist and jewelers!

Whoops, just a question. May I ask why only one edge has a design on it near the bottom inside of the ring? Looks great, but just curious.

You're making me want my ring all the more.....although mine is much more simple!

The floral shots are gorgeous! Something about flowers and diamonds.......!

No problem! We realize that it's a hand made setting and I've noticed SLIGHT differences in the halo. One side is thicker than the other but it doesn't bother me. It's very slight. At first I thought it was the way it was set and then I looked closely at the spacing between the bead set diamonds in the halo and realize that it was the way it was made. I love my ring!

You mean the stamp? One side is the "Tacori" stamp, other side says "18k". Is that what you are talking about? Or is it the little crescent on the bottom edge of the palm facing part of the band? That's the Tacori symbol for the Dantela collection I think. It's their little mark and there is a tiny diamond on each side of it. Kind of a secret hidden little detail. :p

I can't wait to see your new halo!!! Will it be ready tomorrow? i remmeber you saying Thursday or Friday?

Hang on, I'm going to steal one of your pics, edit it to point out exactly what I'm asking about!!!!

Brb.....

OK......The circled area is what I'm referring to.

Yea! That's the Tacori dantela crescent symbol for that collection. It has a diamond on both sides of the ring. I love it! It matches the same sides as the basket. Like a cute surprise!
