A lot of SAs do not like the BJ/Gold h/w combo so stores do not request any.

This is what I know from my SAs too. Blue Jean with PHW is commonly the preferred choice. And unless a customer specifically wants Blue Jean with GHW, and that the SAs feel that the customer will certainly buy the bag when it arrives, SMs will not risk ordering it for the floor, and possibly ending with no takers.

stephanie14, if you're still reading this thread, my friend managed to acquire one BJ birkin with GHW from the Hermes store in Japan two months ago. So I am very sure they're still making it.
