rana- ottone is a discontinued color, no more SOs, nothing (i don't think) in the outlets. the only place you are going to see ottone is secondary market - like ebay.... sadly.

I remember once an ottone wallet ended up at Woodbury and I was so surprised. I think ReRe grabbed it. So, they could get ottone but I'd say very rarely. Sometimes it seems some ebay sellers list their items as ottone in order to attract buyers, knowing it is a sought after colour.

The price seems very high to me (over 3K for a used bag? I would rather have a different brand new bag for the same price). I'm in no hurry right now anyway (especially after the Patchwork and Illusion bags...lol) I will keep Ottone on the list though!

Yes, I noticed the BIN being way over retail when this originally sold. Seller is counting on someone wanting the discontinued color and being willing to pay a premium to get it.
The Esperanza croc is TDF. That photo makes me want to grab the bag right out of the monitor

Thank you for the information septembersiren I had only seen three of the colors on the website and loved the Esperanza and, of course, the Anemone.
I am also fascinated with the Pourpre Python Bag, and I would love to see it in person. However, I would have to go out of state to do so because all python is banned in the state where I live

Ottone is most definitely a gold...but like Mid said, it ranges between a brassy, vintagey darkish gold to light champange gold and all the shades in between. I tried to take a close up for you. It sure ain't anything like Vlad's or Nicaddict's pics but I hope it helps!

Thanks Leah. It is one of those gorgeous, useless bags though...lol If you carry it, the peacock feathers get damaged. They get damaged from just taking the bag out of the dustbag and box!
I am sure that the limited edition Tapei knot bag would be much more durable than this peacock bag (how's that for keeping on BV topic?!
