Does she still have a team behind her though? Seems she alienated herself from a lot of people. I think her jab at Britney was the last straw. She clearly feels entitled to the top regardless of her lack of talent.

Maybe she should drop the fake southern drawl, retool and come back.

The last I heard from T.I. (I mean an interview, he didn't tell me lol) was that they were still cool and he was still willing to work with her whenever she was ready. If that statement was just for the public I have no idea.

Queen Erykah Badu just shaded Iggy into OBLIVION

Just when Iggy Azalea thought it was safe to leave home ... Erykah Badu hit her with a ton of shade while hosting the Soul Train Awards.
Erykah opened the show by taking a slight shot at herself -- pointing out that hip-hop fans give her crap for making rappers "change gods and wear crochet hats" (see Andre 3000) ... but it was all a setup for this shot at Iggy.
Check it out ... the crowd loved it, but it'll be a while before Iggy sees the sun again. Just so much shade.

This ish hurt MY feelings :crybaby:

Japan and Germany always seem to be the last to give up on forgotten popstars :p

Except she was never even poppin over here in Germany :blah:

Did she just walk up on the stage and say what she said, or was there a joke made before? Was there beef between them from before?

It was part of her opening monologue.

After a few self-deprecating jokes regarding her famous exes, she took cellphone calls on stage as a sly reference to her just released 11-track mix tape, But You Can't Use My Phone (which has hit No. 1 on the iTunes album ranking).
Badu then joked that she was instituting a no-rapper policy at this year's awards show. That was the perfect setup for a bit of comedic shade: "Iggy Azalea, you can come because what you do is definitely not rap," Badu said. And Twitter went, "Oooooooohhh."
