This is easy..I will get one Vernis Wallet and the rest spend on H bag (90% of their design, one for each design is enough)But no croc or whatever..just normal leather is so so good enough.

I am so in on the party in Paris.... Then we can all march up the Champs Élysées to the Mother Ship. (LV)

Oh, no...no...no...girls! Not the LV on the Champs! Much too crowded and touristy. I stay away from it like the Plague. I head for the LV, in my neighborhood of St. Germain. I enjoy having a drink there while taking my time with the sales staff.

After having that heavenly apple tart, I'd go around the corner and up the street to Hermes to try to get on the waiting list for a Jypsiere in red crocodile, the one that was featured on Purse Blog last year. I'm not really an Hermes fan, but that bag was beyond gorgeous and a true work of art.

I'd then have a glass of white wine at the Hermes boutique before moving on. By then I'd need one. And after having my glass of white wine, and pinching myself more than a few times, to see if I really even considered purchasing a Jypsiere,...

I was out and about yesterday and walked by Hermes. I went in and curiously asked how much a Jypsiere in crocodile would cost. Price: around $35,000.

Living the dream huh. I think I hate you.

I agree. I prefer the shops in St. Germain, especially the Dior store.

Yes, St. Germain has some really great boutiques. I only cross the river if I have to.

As for LV, I still deeply miss the old LV store on Avenue Marceau, off of the Champs E. It was there forever before the monstrosity was built on the Champs E. Back then there was no LV in St.Germain, so one had to cross the river.

At the Avenue Marceau LV store, I had the same salesperson for many years. One time a friend and I were in that store for so long until at lunch time, my regular salesperson just closed and locked up the store, didn't go to lunch, and kept waiting on us through most of the lunch hour.

The LV saleswoman, my friend, and I were the only three people in the entire LV store. We just took our time, chatted, laughed, and looked at everything. That store was majestic and classy.

When we finished shopping, the salesperson unlocked the door and let us out and then re-locked it. Then later the store reopened. It was common for stores to close for an hour or two for lunch time.

That was the day that I bought my LV briefcase that I still use regularly today and that still looks fabulous. That was around the summer of 1983. It was the summer when the dollar was very high, as well as the Japanese Yen, and it could easily be a 2-hour wait at LV, but thank goodness I could get in and out fast if I spotted my regular salesperson. LV was full of American and Japanese shoppers although most Americans back then had no idea who LV was. But, for those of us who did, we shopped very well.

This was the briefcase that I bought and still have and, from what I remember, cost less than $200. I think it was between $150-$175 with the detaxe. Those were the great days, price wise and service wise.

Let's say 20 mil...because 10 mil after taxes (5 mil, like stated earlier) is not a lot for my 26 year old self to live on for the rest of my life. Inflation & handbag price increases, people!
Handbag wise, the first thing I would do is give most of my Coach away to my tPF buddies. Just give them away instead of trying to sell them. (I actually dream of doing this because I hate ebay so much, lol!). Then...I would reserve $50k for myself to splurge with.
I would have a lot of fun at my local LV store. I would love to get so MUCH. LOL! One of almost everything, even those overpriced charms! :p It would take a van and a strong SA to handle my loot at checkout. Some to consider: Grenat Mahina, black MC Speedy, a Mono Manhattan, Vernis Wilshire MM in RF, Piment Epi Alma, etc...
Then I would patiently stalk for a Rose Pop Alma and a Watercolor Speedy 30.
I would also love to branch out a little and maybe get a Balenciaga; I saw one in a turquoise color recently, and it was quite lovely.
Maybe a rose pink Chanel flap? I don't know about that one. I feel too young for it.
Other than that, I dream of one day owning a black Birkin or Kelly with hot pink lining and gold hardware. :graucho:
Yeah, I would definitely need a van to haul all this stuff away into my new beachfront home...the Ford GT my hubby would buy couldn't handle it.
I would spend most of the money traveling, buying property, and taking care of my parents. But a little indulgence never hurt anyone. :D

I'm a little more than twice your age, have been in a full-time profession for more than thirty years, and have been doing overseas travels solo since I was a teen, so for me I'd be fine with the 10 million. :smile1: And as for the parents, in their eighties and nineties, they are fine. :smile1:
