If you were going to pick one bag....

You are so right! I sometimes still see NWT 2012 límited edition duffles on eBay for less, and they have beautiful detailing, woven straps, large tassels, etc. I think I would need to wait for the croc duffle to go to the outlet to consider it.
When I'm considering a new bag, I try to remember to compare it to things I already own. If I don't love it at least just as much, then I probably don't need it.

I don't see the value in most of these higher prices. I've never spent more than $500 on a bag. If I ever did, it had better blow my socks off!

I would count out the swagger!! It IS heavy and even with the cross body strap, it feels heavy. I typically don't mind heavy bags as I am used to lugging around a ten lb camera and lens anyway, but I am careful about where I carry it.

I personally love the Edie! It is super comfortable to carry.

What is the actual weight of the Swagger? Heavy and light is subjective and varies greatly from person to person. I'm interested in this bag, but only if it is under 3 lbs empty. Thanks.

Prairie Satchel. Reminds me of my Legacy Haley I had a couple of years ago that ended up being too heavy for me to carry around. I ended up giving it to my sister. I love that you can put the Prairie Satchel on your shoulder.

The reviews are terrible! I think the style is nice but they didn't use quality materials. It didn't attract me when I saw it in the store.
