My bag came with a tear. Got another and was going to return but the color is less shiny on the new one. I don’t know what to do! Will they discount if I keep the damaged one?
If you keep a damaged bag will they give money off? If not, which to keep?

I can't seem to see what you're referring to in the picture. I can't see any damage.
Chanel will not give you a discount if you keep a damaged item. If you show it to them and you intend on keeping it, they will offer to repair it for you, but you'll be without the bag for a few months.

They have the same SKU and all. I will say the shinier feels more flimsy and the less shiny feels more tough if that makes sense
Damage for reference. Small tear on bottom. My boyfriend is saying he thinks to keep the damaged one if it’s not a bag I think I will get bored of and sell because I’ll see the color everyday but the bottom of the bag rarely. Asked someone who collects Chanel and she said repair is not offered for iridescent or metallic bags

I will not keep the damage one if you are paying full price for it! I can't accept the bag with the peeling of the leather. It will bug me every time I pick up the bag. I bought a bag with a rubbed corner and I wasn't looking carefully until the 14 days return period is over and I am so upset looking at it. I hope you can find another perfect bag.
I would not keep that bag!!! 1.) for that price (if you paid for the full price) why would you accept the damage if the bag costs like a fortune and 2.) It would drive me crazy everytime when I think about it... just my 2 cents 
I would not keep the damaged one. This is really obvious. I would ask for a third one or keep the less shiny one. If you have the less shiny without the comparision to the other one, would you say, it is not shiny?
I got it before the price increase so $200 less, but still expensive. Think you all are probably right about keeping the not damaged one haha
