Are the pearl studs the same as the necklace? My pearl studs from tiffany's are round, and I find the pearls on this necklace are almost oblong...

I think I will go back to tiffany's and try on the DBTY, and the rose gold diamond necklace that was suggested...as well as look around and see if there is anything else that catches my eye. I want to be sure this is what I want... I guess I'm a tad indecisive.... It really is beautiful, and I'm wearing my silver toggle today since I'm not going to wear the pearl toggle until I'm sure.

Yes, you are right, I have the same earrings as you and they are round, but when you put them on with the necklace, it looks nice and I dont think you really notice the shape being different. If you are not sure, then you should just go look around and see what else catches your eye. Good luck deciding and let us know what you end up with. Do you have any modeling shots with the new necklace?

The matching bracelet would be a good idea for him on future occasions....wink, wink... he did say they had matching earrings, but were sold out.... I'm thinking it was probably the stud pearl earrings I already have... I guess we'll see when I pop by later.

I'll take pictures tonight with my strand... it does feel so nice....

Did your DH give you the option of exchanging it? If so, then you have his blessing on choosing something else. If not, then might his feelings be hurt if you told him you'd rather have something else?

Oh, DH won't mind... he's returned soooo many things that I've bought him. He's the type that will want to know what else they had, to make sure I picked the right pair of jeans, or whatever the case may be. He would want me to be totally sure about it, since it is all that money... we are very practical people. :-)

So I went by Tiffany's today. I tried on the loving heart in rose gold and white gold, but it's so TINY. Maybe half an inch... and that would be a generous measurement. Even the diamond cross for $1500 was tiny. I tried on the DBTY in silver, but the diamonds are very small. Even at the 1600 range, they are tiny.

I tried on the sparklers in silver...but I think this is something I can get anywhere for a fraction of the price.

I also saw other pearls in the 1500 range, all freshwater, but without clasps... I think what I like about these pearls is that it's got the tiffany toggle, so its distictively tiffany's. But then again, I'm not one to wear labels. But for something like that, I want it to be obvious that it's an expensive piece.

So I think i'm pretty much decided..... but I think I'll sleep on it one more night before I wear the necklace from hubby...just to be sure! :-) I will take pictures tomorrow, when it's day light outside.....

BTW..forgot to ask the SA, but does anyone know how much the matching bracelet goes for?
