Since I only have 5 rm's I can also keep them all, but they won't cover all my needs. If we play the 5 bags only game I would go for a black and light colored Julian. I could use it as a no hassle backpack and travel with it. Black for winter and something light for summer. Poor thing will live on trains and plains so anything too light is not an option. Maybe a cognac color, but because of the leather that might feel to wintery. Grey perhaps?
That will leave me with 3 other bags. I love my fig medium love, and can wear that year round. In a ideal situation I would go for a black love, but it's better to pick Eddie. Since the bag is bigger and the vibe of the bag is quite different.
Then I would have room for 1 clutch bag and how much I want it to be the caramel ruched frame clutch, that would be less versatile than black. This poor lonely clutch has to go on nights out, concerts (ideal bag list does also match imaginary non corona outings, right) and formal occasions. Now hope there will be no formal occasions in the summer.
At first I thought this was fun to do, but I actually learned something. I already knew I liked structured bags and having a summer and winter color of the same bag. I use a bag as a finishing touch to my outfit but apparently also as a safety blanket. If I have nothing to do, mini bags are it. In this 5 bag challenge I would love to pick the flamingo Love Too, but that isn't versatile at all. I can see that coming to lunches with me. When I'm up and about, have a thousand things to do, don't know where I'm going or for how long I'll stay, when things feel uncertain or I just don't feel fine, I want my bag to be soft and plush. Apparently I never grew out of my security blanket face and I didn't even knew it
