Honestly, if I could only have 1, it would be something from the Epi line. I think Epi can be used any time for just about any occasion. Denim is a more of a trendy, casual look. BUT, if you love and can get use out of denim, go for it!

No if I could only have one LV it would not be a denim, many lines I would choose from first - Mono, Damier, Epi, Suhali etc

I personally wouldn't get a denim if I could only have ONE piece. I'd want one that I could wear not only for daily wear, but for more dressy events as well.
BUT since we're talking about you, I wouldn't hesitate to get the denim bag if that's what you really want!

Personally, if I could only one LV, I'd go for a monogram or an epi piece. I like these lines and i think i would still like them 10+ years from now.

BTW when i bought my 1st LV (mini looping), I swore that it would be my only one. I remember the SA saying as she handed me my receipt "Enjoy it, it won't be your last one"..I thought "no way" but now I'm wrong because I now have 8 LV pieces!! My point is, this purchase may not be your one and only LV. Either way, I think you should get what you like right now and enjoy it.

This might be a very good point. I do appreciate all the input. I think that I have only had slouchy supple leather bags up to now and I think this is one of the reasons I am attracted to the denim because it has more than one shape to it because of the material it's made from. However, I think that there is something to be said about the more classic look of something like the monogram.. I think I might try to hold off until the Palermo style comes out - I went yesterday and it kind of looks alittle like the denim cabby shape yet, has that traditional look to it. It also said "supple" in the description so that has me intrigued. Going to try and hold out!
