I love:love: my IF Audra! I purchased her from Adasa in September. She has the tassels and the hanging name tag, I like this style alot better than the newer one. I was kinda of surprised when I saw the new version on NM website. No one really knows IF in Canada so when I carry mine, I always get alot of compliments.

Hmmm... I prefer the hanging name tag to the name plate on the bag itself. But I may love the Audra so much that there won't be a need to return the bag to Neiman Marcus. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

I'm sure you'll love it - the bag turns heads! It's a knock out and I don't like everything by IF. Let us know!

The IF Audra from Neiman Marcus is here! And you're right--- the bag is awesome! :love: The leather is not stiff like I though it would be. I expected the bag to overwhelm my 5'2+" frame, but it doesn't at all. Also, even with the name plate on the bag itself I can just always carry the bag facing the other way so that I'm not doing too much advertising for IF (not that they need it! :suspiciou ). The Audra is a keeper, for sure!

I realize everyone has moved on to spring's newest "It" bags, so thanks for letting me share!

slickskin Hope this isn't too much to ask but I'd love to see a picture of you with it on your shoulder. I'm 5' and have loved this bag since it came out but I think it will be huge on me. What do you think?

You gals, please stop bragging about your original Audra? (sobbing:cry: ) I love this bag, but when I started to like it, it was out at NM and when they came back, it's the new version already. I found the leather different from the original too. I gave up on this bag now because I don't like the new version and do not want to pay a premium on ebay for the 1st version. So please stopping being so cruel??...I know I guess I could skip this post altogether, right?...:wacko: You lucky gals.

Thanks, SMof3. It's the first version, does the leather look different? And is $450 the regular retail now? I remember when it was on back order at NM, it was under $400.

KK, I sold mine a while back. I went back and forth, and finally decided to sell it because I never used it. It was never a bag that I veered toward when I was picking my bag for the day or for a particular outfit. I sort of regret my decision now... wah. :oh:

How is the leather different on the newer version vs. the older version?

The "newest" version with the enameled purse colored studs retails for $450. The version that came out right after the original, so the second version, retailed at NM last week for $385. I had it in my cart....and it took all the restraint I had to not purchase it. :p

I would love to take a pic for you, except my digital camera is not the greatest. :evil: That's my next big purchase: a Canon!

Honestly, the reason why I hesitated to buy the bag last fall was because I thought the bag would overwhelm me. I purchased the Jane version of this bag, which was nice also but it could barely fit my rectangular wallet, cell phone, and makeup bag. So I returned the Jane, and am now wondering why I didn't buy the Audra sooner! :suspiciou

In the end , it may be all about proportions. I'm relatively thin, at 120 lb with a pear- shaped body. If you are able, find a store in your area that sells this bag so you can try it on. I live in a city where it's barely catching up to get stores found in big cities (finally will have a Sephora and LV!).

^^^ thanks! i was just about to re-post that pic for this thread! its a big bag, but i think it looks great on a petite girl. i get tons of compliments on it. here's a pic from bricks and stones of alyssa milano carrying a brown aurda, she's petite as well.
