Singer22 does that (mis-identifies) a lot. Of course they do it to move merchandise, but I kind of detest it. They have Rachel Bilson's leather jacket ID'ed as the YaYa Vapor jacket, but it is Rick Owens.

agreed, I detest as well! Singer 22 is on my black list now - I can't believe I almost bought the blazer w/ their no-return policy. they are very sneaky.

I actually tried to find any mention of theory as the LC jacket - but they don't even try to claim it - even though it is definitely theirs & she wears it all the time!

I wrote to Singer22's customer service asking them if the jacket they posted was really Lauren's. I stated the differences I've seen between the jackets. That was 2 weeks ago and still no reply. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, like maybe it is an Alice + Olivia jacket but the style has changed. However, due to their lack of response they're probably remaining quiet since they've been caught. I had no idea about their no return policy. Websites that have that kind of policy strike me as being shady and I refuse to buy from them.

wow- good for you! I was thinking of doing the same but too lazy, but absolutely - no more benefit of the doubt for them! Literally on every style blog about LC it states this is a Alice_Olivia blazer that can be purchased at Singer22, SO SHADY!

Sbogata and babybumpkins, can i just ask...

Lauren's jacket has a pinstripe lining and also kind of like 4 tiny blk buttons running up that, does your theory onehave the same, can either of you please posta close up pic of the cuf rolled up please?
