Is it APC? Net-A-Porter has this one http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/63840 It doesn't have the handle, and the buckles are slightly different, but it still looks very similar

that one REALLY does look similar, all except for the color and stitching color and gold buckles, it REALLY does.

WOAH: okay, so I randomly came across this somewhere and it says here that Amanda's bag is a Roots small school messenger:

but HER bag has a handle on the top and the Roots bags don't. And hers is a different color. are they wrong? or am I wrong?

WOAH! ( again)... I guess THAT IS IT! it sure looks a different color but it's prob just the lighting on the pics on the site compared to the movie lighting, but wow. And it even says it under the bag description.. that's kinda cool.

It is realy cute and affordable! I think the bag Amanda is wearing is really broken in too. The leather description sounds really nice. It makes me want to go back to school!

That is definitely a Roots bag, and they have probably aged it. I have had bags of theirs over 15 years and they still look great. Roots has been around since the 80s.
They are well worth the money
