Thanks for the tip -- wrong side of the pond though! You're so lucky to score an RGGH Work in that color! The Balenciaga stores in the US will only have these in Black, Canard and Moutard.

I'd love the Rose Gold if it was smaller - hence lighter (in weight). I like how it looks against dark bags - very vintage!
The small RG hardware that they put on the town and the first really doesn't make the bag heavy, like the giant hardware does. My Town feels very light.
I saw the first today in black with the rose gold (Neiman Marcus Honolulu) and it was really gorgeous. Excellent bag for a night out because it is a little dressier. I was so tempted but it was ~$1,500 and I have so many small black bags that are already underutilized and I really wanted to buy a larger bag, like a WE or Courier.
But, I can't stop thinking about it, was really, really pretty.

This is why I wish that hardware would become available on other styles as well. I love the color and the way it pops against the leather - but I dislike the size and weight of the larger giant hardware. I may just have to get a Town eventually just for the hardware - even though its on the small side of what I need.
I agree, I would love to see the small RG hardware on a Velo or a Day. I like the look and the weight of it much more than the Giant Hardware bags. But I did break down and buy the Canard with RGGH just because I loved the look of the bag. And the Day has less hardware in general so although heavier than a RH Day, it is not as heavy as other GH bags.
Oh! Thank you, Tmitch - I thought it was just a trick of the light that the RG on your Town looks smaller than what I have seen on other bags in other pictures... but it actually IS smaller. Lovely!
I'm exactly the same! Saw a RGGH Black First and think it's gorgeous. The bigger hardware does make the bag seem even smaller in comparison though. The Town makes more sense size wise but I'm just not sure about the proportions yet.
Here is a photo that shows you the difference in size between the Giant Rose Gold on my Day and the Rose Gold on my Town, for anyone who hasn't seen the smaller hardware IRL.

RUIRUI -- wanted to add that I am very sorry to hear about your goldfish. Do you have more goldfish in other colors? I recall reading somewhere that some people like to keep a tank of regular colored goldfish with just one black goldfish in it -- if the black goldfish dies, it is said that the owner avoided some misfortune!
