I think you like sparkle...and while I am normally not a Cartier person, I'd recommend the Trinity with the diamonds as well. The VCA non-diamond between the finger rings never looked right on me, sadly.

Ok. I got a plain trinity to tide me over. My goal now is to loose all the weight and get a fabulous RHR. He also said I could size the plain trinity. But with diamonds you can not. So I will have that as a goal and stick to necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Then get my dream ring.

I thank you all for your help and you all made some good points. I almost got the pave today, but it is unsizeable and do not want to waste 6k.

When my fingers are nice and slim, then I can choose what I like. I am going to wear the trinity on my right hand ring finger and then move it when it gets too big. I pray it gets too big soon ;).

I love sparkle. It was hard not to buy the pave one!!! But I can always get that when my weight is stable. :graucho:

I'm not familiar with the VCA ring but I LOVE the pave trinity! Funny that you started this thread because I have been thinking about the pave trinity lately also but because I have gained some weight recently I can't get it now because my fingers are more chunky then usual and you can't size the trinity rings or at least not easily.

Girl, my fingers are porky! LOL. So I went with the regular one. I can move it to the middle finger or whatever. He told me it was originally made as a pinky ring. Intresting.
I LOVE the pave version. That is on my wish list as a goal to loose weight !
Also my VCA SA said it would take 4-6 months to get my size in the BTF ring. So I would have to order it and I need to try on something before it is ordered.
On the hunt for earrings now!

Congrats! I have the MOP Magic BTF ring, but would vote for the Trinity in pave or a pave VCA ring. I love my Magic ring and think it is a great statement piece but alternate wearing it with wearing my diamond right hand rings. If you are going for a perfect right hand ring I would hold out for some sparkle and wait until your fingers are at the size you want.

Congrats!! I think that's a lovely choice and definitely better to focus on icing another part of your bod for now (ears or neck or wrists!) than the fingers until you're stable and ready. :) Can't wait to see the pics!!!

Can I just say I dream of that Cartier trinity bracelet with the one pave bangle... sigh! It's so so so so stunning. I love the sparkle!! But yeah... $6,400... or $42,000 - :wtf::wtf::faint::faint::nogood: Just not going to happen! There is one on ebay and they said they'd go down to $24,000 ... I was actually considering it (though I have NO idea how I'd pay for it but it's half off!) except it's a size 1 (small) and I'm a 2. Boo! But definitely good for my wallet! I know I don't need it but that one sparkly bangle sure does add that somethin' something!

Congratulations, I think you made the right decision! I am a Cartier girl and I have
the Classic Trinity and you are always right with such an iconic piece. I will sometimes
wear my eternity band along with it to up the sparkle! Now thinking about a Love necklace!
