The price is about the same.
The trinity is the smaller one with one diamond band.
They make another model but that is thicker .
Or should I get a YG Alhambra BTF ring?

I have a cartier love ring, it is plain and boring. I never wear it.
I have all gemstone rings. Most of them halo and diamonds.

If I got the Cartier , I would even wear it as a wedding ring , maybe with another thin eternity band and no ering . Also as a RHR. My fingers are fat now, so both ring would need to be moved to middle finger when my fingers get smaller.

I like both eaqually. This is really tough.
I also want the Trinity Crash earrings. New obsession.

Cartier or VCA? Thanks!

Oh and my DH said to just wait untill I loose the weight in my hands. ( I was just on some heavy bloating meds) and then buy it, even if it at an increase.

I assume you've tried on the VCA ring? I love love LOVE that ring, however when I tried it on it just didn't love me back. I looked silly on my hand when I so wished it would work.

HOWEVER, if you tried it and it works for you, it's a truly beautiful statement piece.

Would it get as much wear as the trinity? (not sure if cost per wear is something that you think about ...)

Sorry for the rambling... my vote is for VCA! Please post pics when you decide! :love:

Hi, I have tried the VCA once on my pinky, they didn't have one that would fit. Maybe it would look horrible on me! Good point!! The trinity I have tried , they have my size in stock. I would probally have to wait months for the VCA.


if this helps, I have small hands, short chubby fingers. What do you think? Notice why I love earrings so much? LOL.

LMAO! Well I have long fingers and it didn't look good. I keep thinking I need to try it on again ... and again ... and maybe it will grow on me :graucho:

My friend however, who has shorter/chubbier fingers tried on the lucky alhambra butterfly BTF ring and it looked AMAZING on her!! I tried to enable her to get it but alas she hasn't fallen down the rabbit hole yet.

Sorry, I agree with your DH, wait until your fingers are less bloated. It is a lot of money for a ring that you would possible have to move to a location that you did not initially envision and thus might not wear and that would be a shame.

The Cartier trinity is a timeless classic. The VCA BTF rings are a little too much. Beautiful but kind of too much for real life. I like them in theory but not on me and not when I see them out and about. I also think they are a lot of money for what they are. I would rather an unheated sapphire or diamond. The trinity in any version is really so old school. I am dying for the pink, yellow and white diamond pave!

I am going to say Trinity! If you'd said the butterfly between the fingers I might have to vote for that as it's SO gorgeous! I'm not sure how gorgeous the round clovers would look on shorter fingers? Would have to see modelling pics to say for sure... but I really think that Cartier is a classic!!

I just ordered the btf ring in YG with white MOP butterfly and grey MOP motif. I think they are fun and unique. I like statement rings. I agree Trinity would be more of an everyday ring. I guess it depends how often you would wear it and if you want something more understated or not.

Thanks everyone. I am going to Cartier to look at the Trinity again.
Yes I should wait and just get a necklace.

Maybe get a plain trinity to hold me over. I wouldn't mind wearing the trinity on middle finger or even thumb when it gets too big.
Then get the VCA when my hands are not sausages!
