I also got the 03 black with pewter hardware. I always wanted a pewter Bal, and this one, although not my usual purchase of bags in really good condition, will be special to me because it looks as if CeeJay loved it and carried it often.
Still can’t believe she’s gone. She is the one who made me love Bal, when preciously I had no idea what the big deal was!

I'm so glad I finally have a bag from CeeJay's Bal-a-Palooza collection. I'd gotten the alerts from RDC when her bags first hit, but was in the middle of several all-consuming issues in life that prevented me from making a selection. And then time went on and I forgot about it until recently. Thanks for letting me know. :love:

I've had my eye on this one for a while. When I got the email this week about the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale at RDC I decided to snatch it up

My very first Balenciaga Bag was an Olive Brown First that I bought on ebay. The leather on that bag was incredible and I'd been wanting to add a City in this color for a long time now. I also couldn't help but notice that it appears to have been the last Bbag that CeeJay ever bought, which makes it even more special💔 The leather on the front of the bag was super faded & extremely dry, when I first unpacked it. I've conditioned & moisturized it several times since receiving it & the color has darkened up closer to its original color, but the shine is completely gone from the front of the bag (the bottom & back still have their shine, which is really weird). If anyone has any suggestions on how to restore it (or at least make it appear more shiny than matte), let me know

How did you find their cleaning products, compared to others out there? Did you also try maybe their “For Handles Only”? I am trying to prevent the darkening of the handles on a new-to-me Work. Thank you for any feedback.
