Ok, so I got my bracelet. It fits like the way Cartier wants you to wear it. I got the size my SA suggested I should get. I tried on one size larger and I could slip it on and off really easy. My sa said it isn't a bangle, yada yada, I know this. I wanted the larger one and came home with the smaller size.

I want to wear it loose. I would like to be able to take it on and off at will. My DH said I shouln't get a larger one because it is oval and not round and it will not sit right. I want to exchange it for the larger one. I know there is a pfer that can remove hers without the screwdriver.

Do you think this will damage the bracelet? Will it looks silly loose, it moves all around and doesn't stay at all snug. Ahhhhhhhhhh, I should just get over it and wear it the way Cartier suggests you should. This should be an easy thing here. LOL.

i have a size 18 yg love bracelet and the sa tried to talk me into getting a size 17 for the "right" fit. it's all a matter of comfort and i was more comfortable in the 18. i cannot slide it on and off without unscrewing it, but i can push it up my arm enough so that it doesn't bother me when i'm writing/typing. i also plan to add more love bracelets soon so i wanted to make sure that i would have space for 2-3 of them. remember, you have to wear it and it's a pricey piece of jewelry so ensure that you're comfortable. hope that helps and wear it in good health (regardless of size).

I think you should absolutely get the one YOU want! If you pull up enough modelling pics you'll see it worn every way from tight to loose. The SA is trained to say what she said and she isn't the one who has to wear it all the time. It's totally personal - just LOOKING at some of the ones modelled here that are worn very close to the wrist makes me uncomfortable!! I went up 2 sizes... I had one SA talk me into an 18 (I'm a 17 in the classic tight fit) but I had a feeling I would be a 19 for what I want (like boggle I want to be able to push it up my arm to type etc.) Luckily I got to see my friend the SA last week who let me try them on and she LISTENED to what I wanted and agreed I needed the 19. PERSONALLY I like the look of it looser like how Kristen and Eva are wearing here... in the end it's YOUR bracelet!! Get the size you want! :)

Thanks guys! Yes I am the one to wear it! I think I will get it larger, I can slip it on and off too. I have tiny hands and big wrists. Weird. That pic of Eva gets me every time!
Ok, I will post pics when I get my new one, my poor sa! LOL. O well. I am the one wearing and paying for it.

I think you should get the size that you like the best, not the size the SA said you should get. I have recently been contemplating the puchase of a bracelet myself & the SA told me that it should not be loose. However, I do intend to get the size that I like. I prefer how the bracelet looks pushed up higher on the arm, like the way Kourtney K. & Eva M. wears theirs. Look forward to seeing your pics.

Oh boy now I'm worried mine is too small. I got a size 17 for my apprx 6" wrist. But it's wrapped up tight and I'm not allowed to put in on until May.
When sa finally let me try it on it was closing time (and I had already been comparing the cuff models for so long)- I thougt oh I love this and we just got it, and dh made me wrap it up. I hope it is a loose Enough fit for me, and wish I deliberated a little longer - doh! For those who chose the 18 do you know how many inches you wrist measures ?

my sa suggested the 16 for me... but told me it's my personal choice as it's all about comfort. she asked her colleague who owns one, and he told me to get the 17... apparently sometimes he likes to wear it over a thin sweater.

my wrist is 14cm just for reference

@babybumpkins - my wrist measures approx 6"/15.5cm. i wanted the looser fit so went up to an 18 and it allows me to push the bracelet 3-4 inches up my arm. i know you mentioned that yours is all wrapped up but i would recommend putting it on so that you can exchange it if need be. i think they allow for 30 days to exchange an item so if you wait til may, then you're stuck with what you have.

the other thing to consider is warm weather (if applicable). i don't want my bracelet stuck on my arm and not able to move during the warmer months.

Truly it is a personal preference decision. I wear mine snug not because it is suggested to do so but I couldn't stand the feel of the bracelet high up on my arm - I originally had a size 17 and ended up with a 16. Good luck. If only you were able to test drive for 30 days and THEN make a decision. :).

The male SA in Cartier who was fairly new at the time told me I was a size 16. But it felt borderline small to me. It had very little movement and I thought it might bother a bone where my hand and wrist connect. After trying on the 17, he agreed with me that the 17 was better. When in doubt - go a little big. But I don't believe in getting a Love bangle to be able to remove without the screwdriver - JMO!

Thanks for the replies! I admit I do love my bangles, I know the look is to wear it snug. But if I want to buy it and wear it as an ankle bracelet it is up to me, lol.
Hoka, I can slip it off as my hands are really really small, my wrists are just fat! I guess I have the hand version of cankles. haha. Ok back to the boutique I go. BTW the security guard there and I have made friends. LOL.

Hi, Doll...I don't own a Love Bracelet but if the shape is oval...don't get it too big.
I have an oval shape diamond bracelet with a clasp. I had it made smaller (tiny wrists) because it would flip and not sit right on my wrist.
Does that make sense?
Good luck!!!
