I need some help with trying to find authentic Cartier LOVE bracelets!

I agree about buying it at the boutique. I can't buy preowned hand bags and would rather fork out the extra $ to buy it from a reputable retailer. My sister got ripped off on ebay buying a fake LV. I wouldn't buy handbags or jewelry on ebay just because I knew where it came from abd would always be insecure about authenticity. I did buy a Van Cleef ring off the Bluefly sale and I love it. It looks great on my hand, but I was a bit insecure about authenticity. I brought it into the VCA boutique in Neiman Marcus and the sales associate said it was beautiful. I didn't ask if it was authentic though as I thought that was enough confirmation. I may wait until I go back to France next year to buy it as I think it's still cheaper especially with the VAT back.

Thank you thegraceful1! This is very helpful.
There is this one seller on ebay that is trying to sell this as authentic... but if you look carefully, in the two pictures they show of the engraving on the inised of the bracelet is completely different. See for yourself!! Silly.

that one in japan has seriously been up there for 2 years. i am sure its fake.. and they just keep replacing it. be leary buying from overseas.

frankie5star is always a good one... they post alot of cartier.

look for a jewelery store on here. just keep lookin on ebay.

i got my half diamond for $4000.00 on ebay. and cartier looked at it and authenticated it. i knew it was right away. but was happy when they told me yes it was.

Cartier does not provide certificates of authenticity for second-hand merchandise, but they will tell you personally. This is also one of those purchases you should consider in a boutique. Used pieces don't go for significantly less and the peace of mind is pricelss. Also, you get to enjoy a fresh piece before it gets scratched to all h*ll. And it will. They're not meant to be taken off.

Also, as another option, wait until Saks or Neiman Marcus has a deal where you can get cash back on purchases (ie. if you spend $1000 - you get a gift card for $50 - or however much they give). This might be a good way to invest in an authentic piece and save a little money as well.

And just in my opinion, I always prefer to purchase directly from the source - there are a lot of fakes and lots of people trying to swindle as well, it makes me feel better to know that the purchase I'm making is coming directly from the company.

I didn't know that Saks or Neiman's sold Cartier love bracelets! What about Bloomies? I wonder if they do...
