So.. I have been posting in the authenticating thread certain Cartier LOVE bracelets that look authentic, since I am trying to find a good deal on one before I decide to end up possibly paying full price... but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to post pictures of their bracelets in here? I have no idea if anyone is able/willing to do this, but it would be very helpful to me so that I can better identify which ones are fakes and which ones are real.

I found this on Ebay, and it looks soooo real to me, so that is why I decided to start this thread...

They say it isn't authentic, and I appreciate their honesty, but... doesn't it look real? Yikes.

I would love to try to save some $$$ and get one through Ebay, or some similar site, and I think that if I were to see some ACTUAL Cartier bracelets, for example, how the engraving is on the inside, it would help.

Hi darkangel07760! A lot more people on here are better Cartier experts than I. Look up "cartier love" in the forum section and you should be able to find a few photos. Yes - this bracelet is fake. The certificate doesn't look right ie printed date, wrong layout, and odd color tint. The packaging (bag handles, box etc.) is not authentic. Cartier does not make silver jewelry and if they did the silver would certainly not be marked "750" but rather "925." I may be mistaken, but I believe there is some sort of tabboo against sharing individual serial numbers on Cartier jewelry with the general public. Perhaps a counterfeiter could use it to produce a convincing fake.

Hi darkangel07760 - I love the Cartier love bracelet, the link you have posted goes to an item that has been removed.

I would say check out some of the jewelry consignment places online - there are a few reptuable ones online that some of the forum members have turned me onto - it's an opportunity to purchase the love bracelet at a reduced rate and guarantee that the bracelet you purchase is authentic.

I hope this helps!! Good luck and I can't wait to see a picture of your new bracelet.

Thank you tiffanysilver and mbayliss! I have favorited a couple of links, but if there any more that anyone knows about, please let me know! Or if there is a link on this forum somewhere to a list of jewelry consignment shops? Thanks again!!!

most of the bracelets on ebay are real.

you are going to pay about 2500-2700. for a bracelet on ebay.

make sure you get the double box and certificate with it.

you can pretty much tell if its real. there are a bunch of different molds.. and depending on the year... the cartier stamp inside will look differently.

Thank you vuittonslover! I am going to do a search on here and hopefully will find some more pics to help me make a better decision. I would prefer rose gold, but I see alot of white gold ones on Ebay that look appealing.

Here is a picture of one of my Cartier LOVE bracelets, so you can see the markings, please noted this bracelet is faked quite alot, so be cautions if purchasing from ebay or any other sites.

I had one of the Love YG bracelets in my cart during the Bluefly event, but it disappeared after I waited too long to decide and I was dissapointed. It was 30% off retail and the sale was in March. I think it was ~$2600. Prices have since gone up in April at Cartier to $3950 + tax so that was a decent savings. I am hoping for another sale, but maybe it's better to fork out the extra dollars as you can pick your size out and I think I want to get Rose Gold. Also, you have to be so quick and it's nearly impossible to get one of those bracelets unless you are lucky.

I'd be so extremely afraid to not buy directly from the Cartier boutique. I hear too many horror stories. For peace of mind, I think it is well worth it to pay full price unless you really know what you're doing. But time is money and if you go wrong and don't end up with an authentic piece, you will be investing time and heartache on trying to make it right. JMO!
