My 09 FW Tempete CGH WE doesn't come with feet...however according to the web site CGH should come with feet...but all my other WEs does have feet

My s/s 09 sanguine RH work DOES have feet.

So is it a f/w 09 change? I do remember a season or two where some works had feet and some didn't ...

CGH will not have feet - due to the nature of the CGH...

Actually I do not really mind if the work/weekender has feet or not..doesn't really do much to protect the bag's base + adds to the weight. BUT, it does look kinda nice with the feet. But it wouldn't make me not wanna buy the work/weekender.

Thats the thing I hope it isn't just this season that doesn't have feet and then for seasons to come they will again.
I will be really annoyed if thats the case because basically they have devalued my bag for no obvious reason.
If that happens I refuse to ever purchase a new bbag from a store and will only buy older bags online.

So I contacted balenciaga customer service about my work having no feet and here is what they had to say.

"Thank you for your interest in Balenciaga.

The Work handbag does not have any feet.

You might be looking for the Weekender style which do have feet.

So it looks like the SA wasn't the only one trying to pull the wool over my eyes.
I have to say Im very disappointed in balenciaga taking this stance and misleading their customers.
Its official I will never buy a brand new bbag in store or from their website again unless its a new style.
Im very upset to see such a fantastic brand do what so many others have and decrease quality for profitability.
What do you guys think?

So sorry you experienced bad customer service. I guess since the SAs and online customer service are really only trained to answer questions about current season items and are not trained on differences from prior seasons. Either that or the SA lied. In the end the leather is the most important aspect in terms of why Balenciaga lovers keep coming back. If the leather is TDF, then that's all I really care about.

I think the change occurred in 2009 FW.
I had a Pourpre RH Work from that season w/o feet, and I know someone with a Raisin RH Work from the same season w/ feet.

All GH (other than CGH) Work still have feet I believe.
