You made a gutsy decision and a very smart one! So glad they didn't find anything more than your original dcis dx. All you need now is to rest and recover. It's tough, but sounds like you are doing great and have great support. Wishing you good health and a full recovery!

Carolmedtech, I JUST saw this thread. I'm so sorry I'm posting so late here.

As you know, I'm sooooooo glad to hear you are progressing and doing so well. Remember this one ? "Yes, I Can-sir, beat Cancer!!!!!!!" And you did!!!! That first day of your surgery, you became a cancer survivor and you will remain one, for sure.

Ah, the lovely compression suit. Too bad they don't make them in different patterns or colors to coordinate with our handbag collections. Lol. I pray your month or so left in that human rubber-band goes quickly, fast and speedy. (Sorta like living as a turtle...you pray you never roll over on your back?!) I would imagine that in Summer, it would be beastly hot to be donning with clothes. I hope this last segment of your process is as endurable as possible. July 23rd, here you come!

So glad to see you back here on tpf...especially with a gorgeous teally blue bag like that Caroline that connected us in this great big, ol world just a couple Springs ago . LOVE it. What a great choice to celebrate your emergence from the past few months.

Welcome back, my friend. I'm so glad to see you back as a contributing member on the forum, and even better, as a successful member of that 98-99% totally cured population. You are a "SURE-VIVOR," remember?! Xoxoxo

(And don't forget mod pics of you and the Abby, after you render your rubber garments!!!)

Prof, my friend, I can always count on you to make me smile! I am thinking you have hit a new market with the suit colors! I would love to see them in colors that at least entice me to put the thing on. Tan or black makes it look as bad as it feels. Pink, fun floral print, dots, heck pink ribbons....with coordinating medical bras! I swear it takes work to make medical wear so ugly!

I will definitely post mod pics when free of the garment. It's all looking fabulous- the new me improved and cancer-free. :smile1:
