aw thanks! I love the colour, everyone that has seen it irl so far thinks its a tourmaline or amethyst, i know theres something about cushion cut that just pulls me in. i dont know what it is about it! maybe its more vintage looking or something!?

Btw, do you remember my blue topaz halo ring? I have sent it to a jeweller for resetting. It will turn out to be a simple bazel setting with two diamonds (I have also sent my smallest diamond studs (0.15 ct each) to them). A halo ring does not look good at all on my hand. My hand is too sinewy and bony... So much so that I LOVE looking at someone's halo ring!

yes I remember your topaz ring, its gorgeous! jewellery is SO personal of a choice. thats what I love about it, everyone has a uniqueness when it comes to engagement rings, RHR's etc... its not cookie cutter, and what looks good on one person does not necessarily mean it will suit another.
I hope your reset goes well! how long do you have to wait?
p.s I wish my hand was skinny! i'm a size 7 finger 5'10 and 145lbsish but my hands always look fat in pictures
