Haha...they are really addictive and the black would definitely look great to the mix. I saw that forum as well. I was also thinking about the wear and tear issue. I love the bracelet but I'm afraid they won't last as long, but we shouldn't worry about that now. That's just me. When I really love something, I always want to keep it (looking) new.

Actually, it's funny but my dad is the practical Asian and my mom loves name brand handbags. But when it comes to jewelry, she's ok with them being not from a brand. I've been lectured a few times about how my DF spoils me and that they hope I don't get addicted. I don't think it's working with all the temptations from this forum. BTW, I don't think your parents can miss the new addition!

LOL. My mom loves name brand everything else BUT jewelry (watches are the only exception). Our parents sound pretty similar. We went in Feb! And it was FRRREEEZING. Actually the day before we left they got snow, thankfully not a pounding, but two days later they got a HUGE blizzard--the one where DC was like 2 feet deep or something. It was horrible.

I pretty much puke on every plane trip. I suck at flying. I suck at traveling. I didn't earn my nickname for nothin' lol!

Oh dear, how did you know freeze to death?? The last time I went to NYC, I remember having to wear two pairs of pants. My legs were so stiff from the extra fabric and from the cold that I tripped a few times hahah! Ahh. . .face planting. The best feeling ever.

LOL! You are too cute. I really like driving more than flying - I fly only when I have to. I love being able come and go as I please. Driving makes traveling so much more flexible!

Well I live in STL and we get some cold and snowy garbage too, the weather there was the same as here, so we were prepared. It didn't make the wind less cutting. That and we're fat, so we're already warmer lol

We wanted to cut our feet off though. I think on the one Saturday we walked like 120 blocks or something. The Friday we spent at Good Old Gold for most of that day

WOW 120 blocks! I'd need a foot massage after that! I hate the aching feeling you get in your feet/legs from walking around for so long. It never leaves, but I hear soaking your feet in warm salt water helps. I've never been to GOG - I'd love to visit. It'd be an honor to meet the diamond info man/Jonathan! Is he nice?

HA! Yes, DF always rolls his eyes when I'm on tPF! He thinks I'm crazy because I'm on it all the time - on my computer at home or on the go on my phone. And when he saw me on the Hermes forum the other day looking at Birkin reveals, he had a heart attack haha.

My parents would kill me if they knew how much my jewelry cost. They know they're brand name and possibly expensive, but I'm pretty sure they don't know just how expensive. . . Hopefully they never do!

Nice is an understatement! He was worth the trip!!! It was several hours of fun trying things on, including an 8ct!!! and playing with all sorts of other diamonds. If they had an Octavia in like a 7-8mm diameter I almost may have gotten it instead of my star...

Yea when we did the math on that many blocks I was like "I earned more of these chocolates munch munch munch"

Hehe...I get the same reaction from my DF as well. He sees me constantly checking either here, the Hermes forum, or the Chanel one. He knows I'm onto something and I think he's freaking out. He said to me the other day that he thinks he created a monster ever since he got me the e-ring. I told him he's right because he's the one that introduced me to the finer things in life.
