CONGRATS! What a gorgeous, classy black bag and she looks fabulous on you! I agree that although she is a black bag, the patent makes her different. I resisted buying a patent bag for so long but now that I finally have one, I can see how perfect she is for snowy and rainy weather. You'll love carrying her!!

Katev, OMG, I SOOOOO love that bag. I have two pleated kristin satchels and I just find them to be awesome bags. I'm also going to TRY to tone down the pace of my buying a big - I think I'm kind of at saturation point. Buying for OTHERS will help me too. Just got a Coach diaper bag for a friend - no need to have her be frumpy as a new mom.

Buying gifts for others really helped to deflect my desire to buy Coach for myself during all the sales, bargains, couponsm and the general frenzy of the holdiay season!

I've passed on patent before, too. The smooth patent bags were always pretty but they looked like plastic to me. I like the look of the crinkley patent leather better.
I also love not having to worry about a little snow shower or misty rain, she doesn't mind the weather so I don't either!
I've been carrying my black, krinkle patent KPS for over a month now and I still love it! But I was kind of surprised that I didn't get comments and compliments on it - it's such a noticeable bag and it has a lot of bling.
But yesterday I got 3 different compliments from friends and co-workers! I even got a compliment on the pretty blue lining!

She was my first patent bag and now I have 4 krinkle patent bags and 4 patent wallets! They are great all-weather bags.
I do use this bag but maybe not as much as some of my other patent bags because it is the heaviest. When I bought the bag I was driving to and from work all the time and the weight didn't bother me, but now I walk to and from the commuter train station and so weight has become an issue.
I recently carried her for about a month during wet and snowy weather and she still looks great and is holding up just fine! I took some pics of her last month when I bought a new Koi Goldfish Fob:
