I don't even like the colour, but asking for advice about yellow bags...

Yellow is a favorite color of mine. I have three yellow bags and I do carry them a lot. Whenever I need a sunshine lift. And regardless of what I'm wearing. They're all canvas. I had a leather bag in yellow and never used it. I gave it to the Goodwill. The yellow leather seemed a bit off. Too mustard-like for my taste. Maybe it's a leather thing. I love my canvas yellow bags.

I wear them often with my *equally* colorful wardrobe but I try to make sure they don't clash or look too loud.

Oh my GOODNESS, I love Kate Spade's bags, but hadn't seen the tulip!! That is so cool! Just went on her site, and see she has a tennis ball theme going on as well... So much fun! I feel like Kate Spade has replaced Lulu Guinness for me in terms of "fun" / "novelty" bags.

Thank you for this thread! My instinct is strongly against yellow bags as I imagine them to be either too fluo bright for my boring personality or too mustardy, as I'm not an earthy person either. HOWEVER the pics remind me that there are so many shades to choose from, and I especially love the more toned-down, creamy shades that are more like a mix of off white and yellow. And some shades of yellow truly have that essence of sunshine; just bright and light in a sophisticated and understated way
