I tend to see faces in bags, but it's only a problem if the face looks angry or unhappy... The Givenchy Nightingale comes in such lovely leathers, but her face looks like a judgmental frog to me![]()

YES!! This is what I see when I look at a Celine luggage tote. It is just a face with the zipper as its mouth... looking angry! I was never into that bag.

Amazona this was an inspired idea for a thread, I've loved reading through all the posts and find I'm nodding in recognition at most of them! I never realised I was so picky, it's amazing I have any bags at all quite frankly![]()
I personally can't deal with any shoulder bags where the strap strap length is too long and the main portion of the bag hits below my hip ( I'm short at 5 feet 1!) ..sold my alma bb for that reason ...since even when I wore it cross body , it looked weird on me since the bag hits low. I could have of course carried the alma hand held, which looked great but I dislike having " only hand held" option for bags ...I just get tired of hand holding a bag no matter how elegant it looks ....hand holding a bag is just not practical enough for me ! Need shoulder strap ! I also do not like open top bags or magnetic closures...need full zips really....sold my mini papier balenciaga bag as every time I carried it, I'd hold my hand against the bag to make sure the magnetic closure doesn't pop open ( I get paranoid about it ). Can't deal with bags that start to yellow like my dooney and bourke Disney bag ....light color bags are no good either - brought them and sold them as I'm clumsy and too worried about getting them dirty . Can't deal with monogram plastered all over a bag....feel like walking advertisement. I don't like bags with too many compartments. I carry lots of pouches for organisation anyway. The bag itself having too many compartments and zip compartments means I end up forgetting where I put things and it takes me ages to find stuff if I'm in hurry. I prefer one back pocket inside the bag, and just open space inside the bag for me to throw in my organisation pouches and wallet etc. I cant do saffiano or very stiff plasticky leather. If its leather, I want it to feel soft and smooshy. Stiff and too structured leather bags dont work for me as I'm worried after long use, the structure will start to " sag " and loose its shape and I'm scared of how a " out of shape " structured leather bag would look. Also any too-heavy bag is a no no... I can't afford spending available time going physio from injuries of carrying heavy bags!! I can't do bags with chain straps...I like simple comfortable leather straps that sits on the shoulder well without falling off constantly. I also don't buy bags with base length longer than 40cm...since the bag would be too big on my body frame and I'D look like a midget behind it. Any neon colored or " loud " bags don't work for me - some people look great, edgy and cool with it, but I wouldn't be able to carry it even if it looked cute since I don't like the feeling of " drawing attention" from a " loud " bag. For wallets, I don't like multiple flaps that take too much time to " unwrap" to open...also it MUST be able to carry coins etc since I still like carrying cash other than just cards. I much prefer long wallets that arent too bulky but hold many many cards.......I feel I'm so picky @.@
I totally think Chloe Partay has frog face. I can't see the bag on anyone without thinking of a frog.I tend to see faces in bags, but it's only a problem if the face looks angry or unhappy...
