I bit the bullet...but should I keep what I got?

I was in the very same situation, I was feeling pressured to go for the classic, but I went for the Freelove because it just looks nicer on me in my opinion :)

Thank you all! I had to fight off the urge to go buy the classic just because it's the classic...and if the price goes up, etc, will I be able to buy one in the future? But the truth is, having owned one before...I was self conscious wearing it and it makes no sense for me to spend so much money on something that made me feel awkward sometimes. I looked back at pics of me wearing my old classic and love the look, but then remembered taking my kids on playdates and feeling like I should take it off or hide it. Silly, I know...but it's how I felt!

The thinner love is definitely for me - I can take it on and off easily if I want to, and it's not quite so obvious. I'm embracing it, and it's hard coming from someone who feels strongly about "the classics" in most every brand.

I think I've been having the same problem. The thinner looks best on me & is better from a price point. However, I second guess myself because everyone on TPF prefers the classic & of course the classic is a classic for a reason! Since becoming interested in the love bracelet, I see lots of people wearing the classic which doesn't help! But ultimately, the bracelet has to work for ME. I wear dainty jewellery & have tiny wrists (size 15). I wear a 26mm watch & even that seems big to me! The thinner Love just suits me & my style better

I totally get what you mean about being self-conscious about it. Sometimes I wonder if they make me look bougie. LOL. But I have realized that most of my friends and family don’t even know what Cartier is. They just think they are pretty gold bracelets.
