I was shopping at target yesterday with my friend and when we came out of the store someone had smashed my car window. They stole my fobs hanging from my mirror. I had my coach comic book fob and my son gave me an evil eye for my car and they took my weight watchers coin :( :( I just can't believe no one saw anything. Unfortunately there is really nothing anyone can do. I will certainly never leave stuff hanging in my car again. All that stuff is irreplaceable. I just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening. People really stink sometimes.

I'm sorry this happened to you :(
It's really sickening what people will do these days! Thank God it wasn't your purse or your car itself. I know that fob is a very hard one to come by....

I am so sorry! I know that it is irreplaceable but be sure and include the current value of the items in the claim for your car insurance so at least you will be compensated.

All Targets in my area have cameras in their parking lots, I would check with the store, may be talk to the manager to see if they can help in any way, may be employees saw something suspicious.It is terrible that it happened, so sorry.

:( I am so sorry to hear about your fobs being stolen. Someone broke into my car a few years ago. Nothing was taken, because there was nothing valuable to be taken, but it felt like such a violation of personal space.

What a loss! And especially since the items taken were so personal. That thief probably has no use for those items. I'm sure your WW meeting will replace that coin.

I took a trip a number of years ago and we brought along a whole bunch of books on CD's from the library, in a plastic Target bag. Someone broke into our car and stole the whole bag. I'm sure it was just a bunch of punks and when they probably looked in the bag and ditches them when they saw what was in there. of course, it cost us a lot of money to replace them for the library! Sorry this happened to you.

I am so sorry this happened to you! I wanted to encourage you to talk to the Target personnel, too - we saw a guy trying to park, back into someone's car and dent it and drive away a few months ago, so we went in to talk to the mgr. on duty & he said they had video & would check it & call the police ... I hope something similar can help you. I hope your things can be recovered!

Thanks everyone. I will defiantly check with the store and see if they have cameras outside. It's not even the stuff so much that makes me mad but the sentimental value it had. My husband bought me the fob because we are both comic book fans and my son got me the eye to keep me safe in the car. I will ask ww about the coin. It's a shame ppl can't even leave there own stuff in their car without having to worry about ppl stealing it. I will be calling the store first thing tomorrow.

Hi~~Sorry to hear that your window was smashed and your fobs were taken and your WW coin.
Target should have cameras on and focused on the parking lot. When you go in ask for AP (Asset Protection) and/or the Security. They should be able give you some information.
