I've heard about guys sitting on rings for awhile. I think it usually happens when they are waiting for a good way to propose. Sometime guys feel pressure for the proposal to be perfect or seriously romantic or some great-big gesture. And us girls know that it doesn't matter as long as he's on his knee with some bling in his hand!

Lets have that discussion if you still haven't seen that ring in a month or two. I bet that won't happen, though!

This happened to me too! But I had ZERO willpower, that sucker was out of the box and on my finger for a look! I felt so bad, but he sat on it for around a month--he was waiting for my family to come visit and he popped the question at the perfect moment, and I actually was surprised 'cause i wasn't paying attention that day!

For me, I'm more about the proposal and the thought that he puts into it as opposed to the bling. I don't know.. I've always wanted a really thought out proposal as opposed to a crazy ring.

But in this situation, I would go absolutely crazy wondering when it would happen. My boyfriend isn't the greatest at hiding things and I have a feeling it will happen for us either by the end of this year or early next. I'm already wondering when so I can't imagine if I found the ring box! Congrats!!
