Okay.... maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want to wear that in a tiara... I can't see it on my head! And not on a necklace either...kind of the same reason... my hands are too small for that to be on a ring...sooooo...

I'd have them attach it to a scepter! That way I could wave it around and look at sparkling and casting rainbows around the room. Then for sure I'd be queen of the castle!

It was just a little joke, no need to bite my head off. If you'd even bothered to click on the second link you'd see that it is an actual video of the diamond, I saw it when I signed on to MSN yesterday.

I think a tiara with a more interesting and elaborate design would have been better. Something like this, but with that diamond in the center.

Or maybe a tiara like this one, where the stick central ornament is actually the diamond, and those two curls are on either side of it, if it'll fit between them.

Or perhaps this tiara created by Cartier around 1910. That central ornament inside the row of diamonds could be removed at the 101-carat diamond set in it. I think the space might be a bit narrow, though. But you get the idea.

I agree that a more elaborate tiara would be nice, especially for a $6 million dollar stone. That one is pretty in its simplicity though.

Lol! I like the scepter idea... either that or a ring and have my minions hold up the weight of my hand when I wear it...
