How to score a Birkin when you live in Paris? Wait list? Purchase history ?

Hi,

Since now many stores in Paris have appointment system for tourists who come to try scoring their dream bags (which is wonderful news for all Hermes lovers.)

I wonder how it works for locals now? Same as tourists ? Do they do waitlist for locals? Any purchase history required?

It would be great if any Parisian could share their scoring experience in any of the Paris stores.
