I just saw this beautiful bag online. My heart skipped a beat! I have a Speedy 30 in Neige which is very similar. I haven't had an issue yet with color transfer but I'm careful about what I wear with it. If you do decide to try to treat it, be sure to test a small area maybe on the bottom or the bag first. Please post pictures of your new beauty when you get it  I'm really glad to see the return of the Speedy in Empreinte.
Coloradolvr, thanks for the tip about testing a small area. I planned on treating a small area on the bottom of the bag as you suggested. I plan to be careful what colors I wear near the bag while enjoying and savoring every moment of use.

Congrats on your new bag! Be super careful about treating it. LV doesn't recommend using products on their bags, and it would be such a bummer to have an unwelcome outcome with a new bag. I've been there.
OC, I'll test a very small area on the bottom first and see how that goes. I do not want to have an unwelcome outcome and wish you hadn't had a bad experience. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

Hello,
Some of you asked for photos of my leather Speedy. She's a beauty. The inside feels like suede. I lightly tested the bottom of the bag with the Carbon Pro spray. It comes out as a mist and dried very quickly. After that test gave me courage, I treated the rest of the bag with a short (2 seconds) mist of the Carbon Pro. The Carbon Pro didn't change any aspect of the bag but is supposed (praying) to protect the leather from a permanent stain. The bag looks great and and I'm loving using/wearing it!IMG_3329.JPG

Hi! I am very late to the party but this bag is gorgeous! I just bought the PM in turtledove and I have the same concerns. Did the carbon pro spray help? Did you end up avoiding wearing certain clothes like jeans?

Thanks!

Hello,@rjackson2019. Thanks for the compliment on the bag. She is gorgeous and very durable. The Carbon Pro spray helped a lot. Any minor smudge wipes right off and I think its because of the Carbon Spray. I only use the bag between Memorial Day and Labor Day because it's such a light color and I'm old school like that. Before using the handbag, I soaked and then washed (maybe twice) all of my dark color bottoms (dark denim especially) to get rid of any residual color. I found info on the internet on how to do the soaking. So no I don't end up avoiding wearing any color but I do check the bag after wearing darker bottoms to wipe off any smudge or stain. Usually there isn't any smudge or stain. There was an ad that showed a pair of leather sneakers sprayed with the carbon pro. Then they poured something like ketchup on the sneakers. The ketchup rinsed off easily and left no stain. I hope this info helps and enjoy your new PM!
