How to get a smell out of a bag

What about charcoal packs? I also watched a You Tube video where someone put an open box of baking soda inside, put the bag inside a plastic bag, tied it in a knot to seal it and let it sit for a couple days.

I haven’t tried charcoal packs but I did exactly that with baking soda for weeks, but it didn’t help much. I switched to laundry sheets in combination with airing the bag out since and putting it in the sun a few times a week. The smell has gotten much better. But it hasn’t fully disappeared yet. Sometimes when I walk past it, or hold it, I can smell the mouldy odour but it’s just a whiff and doesn’t linger. I would really love to get rid of the smell altogether so I can start using the bag
